William L. Herlitz
Age 88, of Beecher, IL, passed away on
He is survived by sons, Mark (Nancy) of Beecher and Gary (Lisa) of Lynwood; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Roger (Nancy) of Beecher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and siblings, Wilbur, Edna and Myrtle. William was a retired farmer, a Board member of the Will Co. and Lake Co. Farm Bureau's, member of the NWI Archeological Association and Lake Prairie Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. He also served for 34 yrs. on the Beecher School Board. Visitation will be Friday, February 10th from 3-8 with Funeral Services Saturday, at 11AM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell. Burial following in West Creek Cemetery, Lowell with Phillip Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association or Vitas Hospice.
