Madeline C. "Sis" Darner, age 61, of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012. She is survived by three daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Swart, Cedar Lake, Shelly (Greg) Fields, Crown Point, and Christine Darner, Lowell. Mother, Bertie Haberline, Lowell. One sister, Gracie (Hugh) Maxwell, Lowell and one brother, Lonnie Bales, Las Vegas. Five grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffrey, Cody, Wyatt, and Vance. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Bales. Private services at the family's request. In charge of arrangements, Sheets Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago or St Anthony Hospice, Crown Point.
