E.J. "Jack" McCormick
Age 83, of Lowell, IN, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 after a short illness. Survived by wife of 60 years, Mabel, sons, Mike (Gail) of Alford, FL and Patrick "Jay" of Korea, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brother, Calvin of Jasper, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents M.J. and Della and brothers Otis and Edsel. Jack was a member of Lowell Southern Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was also an Ordained Minister, past music director and active in the NWI Southern Baptist Assoc. He was an Army/Air Force veteran and 59 yr. member of IBEW local #697. He was known as "Jack of all trades" Visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 concluding with a Funeral Service at 11AM, officiated by Pastor Jim Banning, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E Commercial Ave. in Lowell. Burial will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.
