William "Bill" Lewis Childress
48, of Indianapolis, formerly Lowell, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 after a brief illness. Survived by parents Lewis and Anita of Lowell, brothers, Donald (Dorothy) of Elk Village, IL, David (Jill) of Columbus, OH, Jack (Rebecca) of Carson City, NV, nieces and nephews and sister in law Joanna Ambroz of Vancouver, WA. Bill graduated from Lowell High School in 1982 and Rose Hulman in 1986. He worked as a Lab Manager with IBC Coating Technologies in Lebanon, IN and enjoyed square dancing. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15th from 3-8 with Funeral Services Monday at 11AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell. Burial follows in West Creek Cemetery with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
