Carla, I am so sorry to have heard this news! I learned of Pats passing just yesterday. I have fond memories of Pat dating back to Indiana. I will never forget everything hes done for me! Not just for saying yes to being my best man, but also for all the negotiating he did in getting me to Michigan that helped launch my career, and all of the coaching/training I received from him! He was a great friend and will be truly missed!

My heart is heavy as I say goodbye to Pat. He was such a special guy. We were so blessed to be a part of his life. I'm so grateful that he married my best friend 39 years ago. We have so many wonderful memories of times we spent together. Marty and I spent our honeymoon in California with Carla and Pat and laughed till we cried. We never lost touch throughout all these years. We had a bond that was very special. Our sons looked up to Pat. We were like family. Pat was always someone you could go to for advice. We visited Pat and Carla often in Michigan and were so fortunate to have been there just a few weeks before he went into the hospital for the last time. You never knew he was sick because he wouldn't complain. He always tried to make everyone happy. We will miss you so much Pat, but I know you are no longer in any pain. We will be there for your sweetheart no matter what she needs. Our memories will last forever. Carla, I am so sorry that you lost your soul mate but we will help you get through this.

We are so sad for you, Carla. You and Pat had a wonderful marriage, and I know you miss him so much. He was a great friend and neighbor. From the time you guys moved in about 25 years ago we had fun together, going to the orchard, out on the boat, hanging out in the back yards, playing with the dogs. He was kind, considerate, and funny. He was like an uncle to our boys, Justin and Ben. We all send you our love. Call me anytime, girl.

I worked with Pat for several years at Rieter, he was a kind man and a true friend. He left the world a more thoughtful place. I will miss him.

My friend Pat..... I met Pat on the first day of our first job at Rockwell International. We were going up the elevator together at the hotel and began a conversation that carried over into a friendship for 38 years. Although we moved to different places thoughout our careers we kept in touch. Through any difficulties (and we all had them) I knew I could call Pat and he would listen and give me his thoughts and vise a versa. I will miss those conversations and truly miss Pat. As he and I would say... Love you man......

Pat will be greatly missed by all. What a fine, caring, witty person he was. I will truly miss him stopping over to shoot the stuff and see how we are doing. Sarah and I were blessed to have such fine neighbors. We are sending our love and heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you Carla. Heaven gained another one of the good ones.

One of the most decent and honest men that I ever got the pleasure to get to know. There was no BS with Pat, you asked him a question and he told you what he truly felt. You will be missed, my friend.
