Tribute & Message From The Family

Christian Lorimer
50, formerly of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his Mesa, AZ home with family on March 1st. He's survived by his mother and step-father Bruce & April Larson of Lowell, Step-brother Rich Larson of Louisville, KY, Step-Sister Trina (Henry) Samson of Richton Park,IL and Half-Sister Greta Madigan of Chicago, IL. He's also survived by long time friend Jackie Schultz, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lorimer, Uncle Neil Dooge, Maternal Grandparents Gerry and Dorothy Dooge, Paternal Grandparents Ted and Louise Lorimer, God-daughter Brianna Klotz, Nephew Cody Klotz and his constant companion, Harlee, his Boston Terrier. Also preceded in death by his best friends Ron MacFarlane and Ricky Leeney.
Christian was a carpenter/foreman at Oakwood Construction and attended Mesa Vineyard Church. He was all about motorcycles; actually anything with wheels. Christian was happiest, and will always be remembered, riding his Harley; long red hair blowing in the wind. Like his beloved Harley, he was one of a kind.
At his request, Cremation will precede a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Contributions may be given to the charity of your choice in his memory.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I'm so sorry to learn of your loss, April and Bruce. It's been so many years, and I wish it hadn't been. Wrap yourselves in those wonderful memories of Christian. He was a bright spot in everyone's life who met him.

Going back many years to LMS having Christian in my class on so many occasions over our three years together. He loved Art taking after his father. He was ALWAYS a true individual...his own person answering to nobody. He has a certain "swagger" being aloof and yet innocent and vulnerable. Loved just sitting chatting with him...listening to his ideas and "what-if's"...never a conformist, always a thinker. Christian was "deep". He will be missed by so many. Makes me so very sad...peace be with you my dear.

I grew up with Christian. He certainly was one of a kind. He always asked about my Dad, since he and my Dad were both sorta "rebels". They had a mutual respect for each other. I like to think that they will meet up in Heaven and have a few laughs about the old days. Christian will be missed.

I've never been good at this, but I want to convey my deepest sympathies to all of Christian's family and friends. I have nothing but fond memories of hanging out with Christian from time-to-time, usually at some great gatherings and parties. I hate saying goodbye to friends, so instead, I would rather say, Ride on Brother, and I'll see you again some day.
