During my time here at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Metropolis, IL Jackie's presence blessed the turning points and milestones of her family with baptisms, confirmations, weddings, and funerals. Her love for them as well as friends in our area was always so evident! What a legacy she leaves behind - to unfold for generations present and generations yet to come! "Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and let Light perpetual shine upon her." - Pastor David B.Deem, Lutheran Church of the Cross, Metropolis, Illinois.

Max and family, we are so sorry to hear of Jackie's passing. A few months ago we just saw you both at Dick's Restaurant and Harry O's, so it was a shock when we read the obituary in the newspaper.
Jackie was a friendly person who will be missed.

I just watched the tribute video on the funeral home website. Oh the memories that flood to my mind. She had a wonderful laugh that I just loved to hear. I am sorry that she is gone for now but I am thankful that we will see her again. I love you all. My prayers will be for you to be comforted and surrounded by people who love you, especially in the coming weeks and months.
